Job Description

Mechanicville City School District anticipates the need to hire several full-time Teacher Aide(s) to work in our elementary school.

A Teacher aide plays a crucial role in supporting lead teachers in the classroom and other educational spaces. If you have the following skills and qualities, we encourage you to apply asap:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Effective Communication.
• Patience and Empathy
• Adaptability

• Collaboration

Prior experience working with children or in educational settings is a plus, but not required.

Salary per CSEA contract

 

Please be advised, per NYSED regulations, the chosen candidate will be required to have a background/fingerprint clearance completed prior to his/her start date. The District will incur the fee for the clearance.
